One spot in our shared studio is coming open April 1, possibly earlier. It has a hardwood floor, an open plan of about 400 square feet divided into quadrants, with one quadrant (about 10' x 10') for each artist's equipment and materials, and two openable windows towards the south.
It is adjacent to the BFAC main space, where drawing and painting sessions (with models) are held four times a week.
Rent is $296 per month, all utilities included. There is 24-hour access to the building. Some parking is available on the street (no overnight parking without a permit), with daytime parking in a lot around the back.
The space is best for a painter or similar practitioner who is community-minded and considerate. The four artists sharing the studio are typically not in the space at the same time, as they have different schedules. The larger BFAC studio is available for use when drawing and painting sessions are not being held.
We look for artists who respect each other's need to work while also appreciating some connection to other creative people.

The photos show views of part of the shared space (not necessarily the space now available), plus views of the main BFAC workspace.
